Did you have any trouble bringing 2 laptops together through Philippine Customs at the Ninoy Aquino Airport?
aikon56 asked:
I’m planning to go home to Manila this December and would like to bring with me my 2 laptops (used but still looks new). Is this ok with the Philippine Customs? Do I have to pay any duty even if the laptops look brand new but are owned by me?

no, handcarry one and have the other one safely packed inside your luggage.

No, because at that time we were plenty, so we pretended that one was mine and the other was another person’s.. and don’t bring any receipts if you bought it in a different country. and make it as if it were used already

Yes. That is subject to tax. Trick: bring the receipts of your laptops. It would be better if your other laptop is a company issued one. If not, just take them out of the box. If they saw that those are squeaky new? they’ll charge you a hefty sum. That’s Philippine taxation, folks!
