does sharp DT 510 PROJECTOR work with laptops?

I bought a sharp DT 510 home theater projector. I am planning to use it with my laptop and cable tv connection. I do not have a TV now. Could anybody please advise what are possible accessories I might need ? And please tell me about waht I should watch for while buying home theater speaker +DVD player.

    of course it does, for a speaker system, you should find a speaker that support dts system, if you want a better one, find that support thx. for a dvd player, find with the dts logo so will have acomplete dts system.

    All projectors can work with laptop directly without any accessories
    use HD15 cable that is 15 pin connector on both sides of the cable connect one end to RGB port ie 15 pin socket of your laptop and other end to projector RGB inputand run laptop into dual display mode fn+F4 key to be pressed for going into dual display mode.
    For cable TV you need to buy converter or tuner which gives composite video and connect this line to your Projector’s respective video input Composite Video (CV)
    Use DVD Player’s S- video output for video projection and audio should go to audio amplifier having at least 03 input selections ie VGAa (RGB)a, SVa, CVa audio output of each source signal.
    I think for a single question this is a too big answer……..keep smiling as all the inputs can be connected to your projector without any accessory.
