How do you go about having 2 computers at home in different rooms?

llilcasper asked:

How do I connect the 2 computers so both can be used at same time. They are in different rooms so I am thinking I would have to join them with leads (which is not a good idea) as there would be wires/cables etc. lying on the floor making for a very messy arrangement. can someone please let me know as I want to purchase another computer, so to use at same time when necessary, but I don’t want all the cables etc. lying arround. Thanks

You can get a wireless router, and hook them up to the same network.

You need a wireless router, and a wirless card or USB wireless adapter for your 2nd computer.

Probably $80 to $100 maybe cheaper if you get old technology.

    Try this place

    They have some deals sometimes.

well you can go wireless. but then you have to spend another 150 bucks. youll still pay for one internet cable. it should slow down the speed. but you wont get best performace on the wireless.i mean honestly its only one cable that will go on the ground. why not try to install it under the carpet.
