Is there any problem bringing laptops to Malaysia and Sinagpore especially through customs?

I was specifically wondering about possible tax and secuirt issues. I am just bringing my personal laptop which has signs of wear and tare.

there wouldn’t be any problem. Just uninstall all your pirated software and delete all the pirated copyrighted medias and you wouldn’t have any problem.

If used, no problem bringing in one for personal use, but make sure it contains nothing “exotic”…, and bring along evidence that installed softwares are genuine …

nope.. just bring it. They will just scan your laptop and that’s it.
